Guitar Solo Lesson!

Monday, January 25, 2010

Are you one of those guys that is always dreaming with his eye wide open of a live guitar performance in front of a huge audience? I've been there, and I had not yet had my first guitar solo lesson at that time. Dreaming is nice, but to get things going you need to start acting on your passion, so here are some great tips to help you play your guitar better.

Tip 1 - Feel the rhythm
If you want to become a great player someday, or at least to get the hang of it and start being appreciated by friends, you need to understand your own guitar, to feel its unique beat.

Tip 2 - Buy a guitar your size
There is no need to get the biggest guitar on the market when you can barely hold a medium-sized one. Get something you can manage because in your guitar solo lesson you should only focus on the notes you play.

Tip 3 - Get a lesson guide
If you don`t have time to get private lessons, then you can teach yourself guitar at home. But learning chords and scales with no assistance is impossible, so find a guide that allows short lessons for busy yet passionate people.

Tip 4 - Want a solo? Learn your notes!
Before staring a solo act as the great artists, remember that you have to at least know the notes on your chords. You can`t just randomly play them.

Tip 5 - Learn some serious theory basics
To sing real songs you have to understand how they were written, otherwise your notes will be empty.

Your home guitar solo lesson can be very rewarding once you learn how to feel your music. With some of effort and practice, and with the right guidelines, you`ll soon be able to play for a real audience. More...
